CARMEN
ARTIS studied formally at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in
Baltimore, MD. and continued private studies with internationally renowned
mezzo-soprano, Antonia Kitsopolous. Her extensive credits in opera, oratorio
and musical theatre include the New Jersey State Opera, Northwest Lyric, and
Scranton IV Opera, as well as with the Pittsburgh Symphony conducted by Andre
Previn and Michael Tilson Thomas. She has been a repeated guest soloist with
the NJ Pops and has performed Off-Broadway both at Saint Peters Theatre
and the Westbeth Theatre Complex. Among her musical theatre performances, she
has especially enjoyed playing Aldonza in Man of La Mancha. Her specialty
program, Spirituals to Ragtime to Jazz, was recorded live in early May of 1997,
in a tour that included the Watchung Arts Center and Morristowns Bickford
Theatre. She and her husband, John Hammel, have performed their program,
Great American Songbook, with such jazz notables as Regan Ryzuk and
Rio Clemente in their tireless efforts to promote great American composers of

SEAN
BARKER - Baritone - sang Jokanann in Salome with the Santo Domingo
Opera, Wolfram in Tannhauser with the Tulsa Opera, plus the bass baritone leads
in acclaimed productions of Manon and Tosca with Tosca Opera and in the
Beethovens Ninth Symphony with the Oratorio Society of Queens. Last year
he sang the title role in Mendelsohns Elijah in New York and the Father
in Hansel and Gretel, which he repeated in last years Musical Fairy Tales
in Walpack. He starred in SWEENEY TODD with Opern Bauhaus, and opposite
Rosalind Elias in REGINA at Long Wharf Theatre. Hes sung leads with
Cameos MUSICAL AMERICA, POP OPERA, VICTOR HERBERT & NAUGHTY MARIETTA,
BROADWAY in PARIS, Sean Barkers ABENDMUSIK and New York City Operas

BRANDEMOUR - Soubrette - joining Cameo Productions for the first
time, was seen on the Morning Show with Charles Kuralt and also in the made for
television specials Broadway Applauds Lincoln Center and Show Business Applauds
Lincoln Center, directed by Richard Maltby. Shes played leading roles in
over twenty - eight musicals and dramas in New York City, stock and touring
nationwide, among which have been such musicals as Kiss Me, Kate, Anything
Goes, Desert Song, Gypsy, Annie, Guys and Dolls, Meet Me in St. Louis, Evita,
Carousel, Company, The Mikado, and Pirates of Penzance. Her many acting roles
in drama have included Picnic, On Golden Pond, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie,
Lion in Winter, Paisley Convertible, and Absurd Person Singular.

Cameos star performers, is a world renowned Master of Improvisation.
Cameo presented Steve both at William McNiece Auditorium and Selective Risk
Auditorium for STAND UP FOR NEW JERSEY! to celebrate National Arts &
Humanities Months big kick-off occasion, national Standing Ovation Day,
twice. Steves half hour appearance for New Jersey PBS New Jersey Live!
Has been aired repeatedly, giving additional plugs to Sussex County each time
its aired. DePass who has performed repeatedly at the White House, for the
Queen of England, at Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, the London Paladium, was dubbed
Americas Singing Poet by the late Nelson Rockefeller.
Discovered as a child star in Broadways CARMEN JONES and BLACKBIRDS, he
subsequently appeared repeatedly on the Ed Sullivan Show, the Tonight Show and
on every major TV variety show, including co-hosting the Mike Douglas

EDWARDS - Tenor - received glowing reviews for his concert tours of
Germany which included performances in Berlin, Dresden, Dusseldorf and the
world famous Beyreuth Festival, singing musical settings of the poems of
Heinrich Heine, in addition to the premiere of Leonard Lehrmans one-man
opera, THE FAMILY MAN, at Semper Oper in Dresden. Hes sung over 100 roles

ENTRIKEN - Tenor - is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, where he
began his early musical training at the prestigious Peabody Conservatory. In
addition to Gilbert & Sullivan, hes played dozens of roles in opera
and operettas including La Traviata, Rigoletto, La Boheme, Madama Butterfly,
Cavalleria Rusticana, Die Fledermaus, Song of Norway, Desert Song, Man of La
Manacha, and Merry Widow with auspicious companies which include the San
Francisco Opera, Philadelphia Lyric Opera, Baltimore Opera and The New Jersey
State Opera. Hes sung sacred music throughout the Northeast, notably with
The American Symphony Orchestra at Lincoln Centers Avery Fisher Hall and
nearby, The Northern Morris County Choral Society. Hes appeared on
Broadway and Broadway National Tours in 1776, The Phantom of the Opera, Annie,
Get Your Gun, and Shenandoah and more locally at the Papermill Playhouse. Among
his film appearance are such notables as Serpico, Ragtime, The Verdict, and

BRIAN K. ERNSTES - Tenor of Branchville, and a
recent newcomer to Sussex County from the Midwest, has sung numerous operatic
roles with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, the Kansas City Civic Opera, the
Indianapolis Opera, and the solo tenor roles in the Verdi Requiem and Messiah
with the Houston Choral Society and many other civic and college organizations.
A winner of many vocal competitions, he was a winner of the New Jersey State
Opera Vocal Competition 2002, and has sung extensively with that company. He
will be singing the leading tenor roles in their productions of in CAVALERIA
RUSTICANA and PAGLIACCI. His roles in opera, musical comedy operetta, and
variety range from AIDA, LA TRAVIATA, LE NOZZE di FIGARO, LA BOHEME, and IL

CHRISTOPHER JOHN
GILLESPIE - Singing Pianist / Arranger / Composer is a
classically trained pianist renowned for his rendition of George
Gershwins Rhapsody in Blue. He is a favorite of the New York Supper Club
circuit and a featured performer at Manhattans famed Carlyle Hotel.
Before 9/11, he frequently performed at Windows on the World at the top of the
World Trade Center. His recording of original songs will soon be released, and
he is engaged for performances worldwide from Australia to Europe. Born in
Germany, he served as Musical Director and Organist at Zion Marks
Evangelical Lutheran Church on Manhattans East side for many services in
both English and German, and he is now Musical Director at New Yorks St.
Stephens Hungarian Church. |

MALCOLM
GORDON - Actor / Singer - began his career in the U.K. as a
child performer with a Solo Act in Variety; appearing in theatres, lodges and
concert halls. He studied at the London Theatre School with director Peter
Deering. Moving to Toronto, he studied music and voice at the Royal
Conservatory of Music and appeared in over 30 plays - including Ulysses in
Nightown, The Zoo Story, Barefoot in the Park, Sleuth, The Birthday Party, Ring
Around the Moon, Cages, The Government Inspector, The Entertainer, Two for the
SeeSaw, I Never Sang for My Father, and the Canadian premiers of Boys in the
Band and Small Craft Warnings and a record-breaking 24 week run in The
Drunkard. His one man shows include Theatre songs of Brecht & Well, Theatre
Songs of Eisler and Brel and Broadway and All that Jazz. In addition, Malcolm
made CBC TV appearance and won the Best Actor award twice at the Ontario Drama
Festival. Upon moving to New York, Malcolm studied and appeared in performance
with Kenneth McMillan and was a regular in the Music Hall Revue at David
Copperfield Club. With Cameos Musical Britannia and the London Musical,
performing a diversity of music from Shakespeares plays Gilbert &
Sullivan operettas through the musicals of Ivor Novello, Noel Coward and Andrew
Lloyd Webber, he toured to such diverse venues as Lincoln Center Summer
Festival, the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, the West Virginia Summer
Festival in Huntington and the International Banana Festival in Fulton,
Kentucky. He starred opposite Madelyn Burns in A Lyrical Look at Love both in
New York and Boston and has played many Catskill resort dates including Scotts
in Deposit, Browns, Flieshmanns, and Sullivan County Performing Arts Center.
FISH AND CHIPS is the product of Malcolms lifetime love affair with these
wonderful theatrical songs and opened at Oddfellows Hall, Olivebridge, and
played to a variety of audiences in New York State, before sold out
performances at the 42nd Street Spotlight on Winter Festival in
N.Y.C.

DOMINIC GUASTAFERRO - Baritone - has sung a variety
of baritone roles with Cameo Productions, notably in MUSICAL AMERICA, and
VICTOR HERBERT's MEMORY ALLBUM and NAUGHTY MARIETTA, in addition to
having conducted LIBERTY! For Cameos production, WATER SONGS, he both
sang the baritone and served as musical director/accompanist. He made his New
York debut as featured singer of "The Impossible Dream" for thousands of
visitors to Radio City Music Hall, followed by a career in every medium from
the Goldovsky Opera to soap operas to a role in the film ARTHUR. He played
opposite Julius LaRosa in A BROADWAY MUSICAL, and in THE CRADLE WILL ROCK at
the Village Gate. Hes played baritone leads in KISS ME, KATE, SOUTH
PACIFIC, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and MAN OF LA MANCHA. With an Ed. D. from Columbia
University he is Supervisor of Music and Art for the City School District of
New Rochelle, sits on the Board for the New Rochelle Opera, and praises the
Lord as Musical Director for the Church.

JOHN
HAMMEL has a range that stretches from Broadway to the Opera House
and has appeared with the New Jersey State Opera, Northwest Lyric, Trenton
Civic, and Scranton IV Opera as well as Off-Broadway at the John Houseman,
Saint Peters Theatre and Westbeth Theatre Complex. Hes appeared at
Morristowns Bickford Theatre in the dual lead roles of Jupiter/Amphitryon
in their production of Olympus on my Mind and as Richard Henry Lee in their
award winning production of 1776. Hes been featured as soloist at
Carnegie Hall and sung with the New Jersey Pops in performances throughout New
Jersey from Atlantic City to Cape May. He and his wife, Carmen Artis,
concertize regularly throughout the Northeast in programs of opera and musical
theatre selections. He hosts an eclectic weekly radio program, for over

JACQUELINE KROSCHELL -Soprano/Artistic
Director - Touring the Far East as leading
soprano with The Opera Theatre of New York led to
founding Cameo, which has performed nationwide and
statewide for over two decades. During the
last year alone she created productions of Abraham
Lincoln's Music, Amahl and the Night Visitors,
Gilbert & Sullivan by the Carte, Centennial
Classics and numerous other special programs
for public, private, corporate
audiences. She recently starred in the New York Premiere of Steve DePasss
one woman inspirational work, Me, Myself and God at
NYC's Saint Peters Church. . A lifelong
performer, her Broadway and
off-Broadway credits include MAN OF LA MANCHA, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and THE
PIRATES OF PENZANCE and Tamara. Shes performed Gilbert & Sullivan and opera roles with New
York City Opera, L.O.O.M., Lake George Opera, The Contemporary Opera of New
York, and the Stratford Festival Company and been a Guest Artist with over
three dozen symphony orchestras, including the Rochester and Buffalo
Philharmonic, and the Baltimore, Dallas Detroit, Denver and Milwaukee Symphonys
and Canadas Vancouver, Winnepeg, and Edmonton Symphonys and Ottawas
National Art Center. She serves as Nautical Nightingale for the Council of
American Master Mariners, and numerous other

KAREN
LUNDRY Lyric-Coloratura, a resident of Montclair, NJ, whose new
CD,.My Very High Ab and other Favorite Notes has just been
released, has been featured soloist at Radio City Music Hall, the Metropolitan
Museum of Art, with the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra, the Trinity Church Concert
Series, Bargemusic, Bel Canto Opera, and toured Greece, Portugal, Italy,
Morocco and Portugal as soloist with the International Chamber Orchestra. Early
in her career, she was selected to be soprano soloist for the Margot
Fonteyn-Rudolph Nureyev Gala Series at New Yorks Uris Theatre. With
Cameos Musical Britannia, she appeared in the New Jersey Shakespeare
Festival and Lincoln Center Out of Doors. She toured the Far East as leading
coloratura with the Opera Theatre of New York, playing leading roles in Don
Pasquale, Rigoletto and Beatrice and Benedict. She made her formal New York

SHARON
LEVIN - Flutist - has delighted local audiences as principal Flutist
with the New Jersey Pops Symphony Orchestra for the past 14 years, in addition
to her performances of HOMAGE previously in the VOICES OF SUMMER Festival. She
and Jacqueline Kroschell met in 1992 when Jacqueline selected her to give
special Master Classes in Flute funded by the Dodge Foundation for the Sussex
County Teen Arts Festival. She has performed concerts in France, Switzerland,
Germany, Israel, Costa Rica, Brazil, Ecuador and throughout the U.S.A.,
including five performances as soloist and chamber musician at Weill Recital
Hall at Carnegie Hall. Brazil, Costa Rica and Ecuador have featured her on
their National Television, and she and harpist Karen Stern have been featured
on NYCs preeminent classical radio station, WQXR. As concerto soloist,
shes performed with the National Symphony of Ecuador three times and with
the New Jersey Pops, Hudson Chamber Symphony, Union Symphony, Nutley Symphony
and as duo soloist with Karen Stern with the Brazilian Symphony in Rio de
Janeiro and the Sao Pedro Theatre Orchestra in Porto Alegre, Brazil and others.
She recorded a CD, Reir Llorando, (To Laugh Crying), with her group, Trio
Pasional, (flute and two guitars), which performed at NYCs CAMI Hall in
May 2003.

KELLI ANNE MIRO has been in over a dozen
professional productions since the age of nine. She is the youngest member of
Cameo Productions, Ltd., a professional company and has toured with them in the
title role of the childrens opera LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD. According to
the operas composer, Seymour Barabs, Kelli is the youngest actress to
play this difficult role. She has also performed twice at the Lambs Club
in New York City, the oldest theatrical club in the world. Some of Kellis
credits include I REMEMBER MAMA, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, THE BROOKLYN BASEBALL
CANTATA, JAKES WOMEN, MACBETH, LEADER OF THE PACK, and MUSEUM. Kelli has
had leading roles in THE WIZARD OF OZ, THE JUNGLE BOOK, BYE-BYE BIRDIE, SOUTH
PACIFIC, CRAZY FOR YOU, PIPPIN, and HIDE AND SEEK, Kelli has also had title
roles in two productions, SYLVIA and NO NO NANETTE at Blair Academy where she
just graduated. She is a junior at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at
New York University this fall where she is a member of Strasberg
Studio.

CAROL
MIDDLETON - Musical Director / Pianist was born and educated in
Mississippi before furthering her studies as an operatic soprano and
accompanist/musical director in the New York area. In addition, she always had
great mathematical talent and taught AP Calculus in high school for 34 years
before retiring to concentrate totally on her musical endeavors. Her first
performance for Cameo was with Jacqueline Kroschell for the 100th Anniversary
Luncheon for the Chinkewunska Chapter of the D.A.R. in May. Shes
performed as Musical Director for Mary and Regan Ryzuks Enchanted Players
of Boonton, NJ, for productions of The Sound of Music, Once Upon a Mattress,
Cinderella, Charlie Brown and the backers auditions for their new
musical, Jack the Ripper, which has been optioned for a London West End
production. Her long list of Musical Director credits for many companies
includes such shows as A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Little
Shop of Horrors, Children of Eden, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and last
years sell-out performances of The Music Man for the Jefferson
Players.

MARTIN
YAZDZIK - Conductor / Pianist - born in Pennsylvania, grew up
in Scotland and was admitted to study for the Bar at the tender age of fifteen.
Music was his true love, however, and by twenty, hed graduated from
Manhattan School of Music, studied with Britains Sir Colin Davis, and was
engaged as a coach at Brussels famed opera house La Monnaie. This led to
conducting at numerous German opera houses, while studying with Roumanias
Constantin Bugeanu. Aaachen Elmar Otthenthal engaged him to conduct Phantom,
Les Miserables and Cats at Austrias Theatre an der Wien, and for five
years he conducted and created new productions for the opera house in Aachen,
Gemany. Having recently relocated to the USA, he led performances of Dubrovsky
at the Massachusetts International Festival of the Arts, worked with the Tulsa
Opera, and in June, he conducted New Yorks Golliard Chorale and Chamber
Orchestra in Telemann, Beethoven and Haydn. Stateside, hes worked with
the Florida Grand Opera, Baton Rouge Opera, Tulsa Opera, Seattle Opera, and
Bronx Opera. His repertoire includes some forty operas, seventeen oratorios,
thirty-six symphonic works, and numerous operettas, musicals and ballets, and
coaches many opera and musical theatre luminaries. |
